The Hwa Rang Do World Headquarters is dedicated to governing the martial and healing art of Hwa Rang Do and its undergraduate art Tae Soo Do. In order to grow for the future, enhance quality, and retain an honorable reputation that all practitioners can be proud of, our Association is involved in many actions / public works, that benefit the art, dojangs, and practitioners. Some of these actions come in the form of individual school support, special education and training, business development, scholarships, licensing of certified instructors, and legal action that is necessary to protect our art and its reputation. The Hwa Rang Do World Headquarters is the sole governing body of Hwa Rang Do / Tae Soo Do worldwide, and through its efforts a proud and reputable martial art identity will be passed to the future generations.
Along with supporting our art, your membership will also grant you the benefits of discounts on equipment & merchandise at your local dojang, discounts on sanctioned events/seminars/tournaments, maintaining your certified belt ranks, and special access to our online video training available through our Online University.
All training students are required to have an active HRD Legacy Membership. Parents are not required to have one, yet are welcome to purchase in order to help support the cause if so inclined. We thank you greatly for your support, and wish you the very best in your training and life journey!

For any EXISTING person that has already purchased a HRD Legacy Color Belt or Black Sash Membership in the past (on our previous website at hwarangdo.org), you will need to update your credit card on our new software system (Spark Membership) if your membership expired. An email was sent to all students who had a membership previously, so please click the specific link provided in that email to update your membership, and then gain access to the Online University and special event registration. If you need a new link, please email help@hwarangdo.org for assistance. You can also renew your membership by adding a card via the free Spark Member app, see details below.

To access the University via our Free Student App, search the Apple or Android Play Store for the Spark Member app.
Once installed, For your Location ID# enter 6156 for the HRD World Headquarters
*For Minneapolis Academy students and parents, you will also need to add a 2nd location ID# 6120. Your account will be connected via the same email address along with first and last name.
You will use your same email and password to access the Spark Online University. Once you have successfully logged in, you can also purchase Color Belt Legacy Memberships via the app, as well as register for special events.
